Presentation

Rob of Pics R Easy (www.picsreasy.com) presented to us about his new photo printing business.  All those who attended received a free photo book offer.

• Rob is a photographer and had a lot of digital images on his computer.  He says beginning to print his own photos “changed the way he looks at photography.”  Started a business to make it easier to do.
• Tried to make it easy even for non-techincal people.
• Can print books, canvas wraps, puzzles and more.
• Rob gave us an in-depth demonstration of how to create a photo book using his site.
• Coming next month — the ability to have your own storefront and sell your work.

• New River Writer’s Project would like to do a combined photo/writing project between our clubs.  Details to follow.
• NRV Magazine is looking for “Wedding” theme photos due by December.
• Outdoor Portraiture Class – Nov 7th 1-4pm.  Location just outside of Blacksburg.  Cost $40.  Contact David Pearce.
